Our trip was planned around attending The Price is Right, but we added extra days to explore. Dinners at Damon's Glendale Steakhouse and Acapulco were fabulous. Lunch at Foxy's was amazing. Close to Hollywood, too.

Nice area, mix of apparently rich and middle class, not beverly hills, but pretty nice overall. You can find most kinds of restaurants here. There were maybe 5-10 mexican places within a couple miles.

The area has a nice vibe and we felt comfortable there. I like the layout and the diversity, saw plenty of law enforcement around so felt safe. Just a very nice city.

We drove through some of the hilly older neighborhoods in the area, and they have a charm we miss since moving to San Diego. It was nice!

Lots of buses, easy to get around. Had dinner at Tam O'Shanter, and breakfast at Porto's Bakery and Cafe.
"I was very happy about having access to the pool and loved the view, food, and ambience of the penthouse restaurant! I didn’t realize there was such a generous buffet for breakfast! The omelette chef was superb, and the rest of the hotel staff was very fine as well. Zak our server was very personable when my sister and I had scallops (yum!) for dinner. "
"The staff was incredibly accommodating, the beds cozy, bathrooms so clean ... The view from the rooftop was amazing and the pool was pleasant. The valet service was super fast. I was even surprised by the gym on site. It was super affordable, which made all the amenities impressive. I would definitely stay here again! The lobby has such a cool vibe although the seat cushions could use a deep clean. I met some gals from all over the globe in my quad and they were super easy to bunk with. I had an overall wonderful experience."

"We loved our stay here! A beautiful hotel, clean and a great place to escape the heat outside and have a cool drink in the bar or by the iconic outdoor pool area.
Our room had been refurbished with modern touches. Our bed’s and pillows were really comfortable and the hotel staff friendly and welcoming. The hotel is on Hollywood Boulevard so you can step out onto the stars.
Great location for many food options and shopping.
