Family Selection at Grand Palladium Costa Mujeres Resort & Spa- All Inclusive

First of all the staff at the front desk was not friendly at all, so that was our first impression, we had paid for the family selection loft suite king bed, which is the most expensive option. when we got there, we went to the suite and it turns out to be 2 queen beds, there was staining on the floor, the mini fridge had rust and it did not look safe, I made a huge deal and had a manager come out, they switched us the next day to a better room with king bed, also to get an ocean front, its $50 a night extra...the food was not the best, they have 1 buffet open for breakfast, one buffet open for lunch and they serve the same exact food everyday, and for dinner they had only 4 restaurants open and every night you had to make a reservation between 2 restaurants cause they open 2 restaurants at a time and the next day they open the other 2 and so on. We only liked the japanese restaurant So we had a tough time with the food on the nights it wasnt open. Also if youre not in family selection, you pay $10 per for every room service. The pools are very nice and the overall look of the resort is very appealing

This hotel will use 2 hours of your time/vacation to talk you into a membership "timeshare". The staff is trained to beg you to listen and walk some of the hotel rooms to convince you spend a hefty amount of money on their timeshare packages. The staff is super friendly and nice but I surely didn't appreciate the 2 hours my family lost listening to a couple of men trying to sell my husband and I a timeshare package.

Absolutely beautiful property and outstanding amenities! Nothing is perfect but this was as near perfect as it could be. Lovely room. Awesome pools. Best and most consistently excellent customer service we have ever experienced, from golf cart drivers to family host, restaurant workers, bell hops..every one was accommodating, kind, and all seem to truly love there jobs

First Impression: The resort is beautiful. We were not found on the list to access the resort, luckily I was able to find my booking confirmation. We waited for a while at the front lobby to do private check in at the Family Selection. My emailed room request was never responded to, I did not get what I asked for in terms of beds but was accommodated next day. FamilyBoss items a nice touch. The Family Selection: Staff in the Family Selection kids club were great in the building and poolside. Fernanda was an amazing family host, she truly went out of her way to meet our needs, even after we moved rooms and were technically assigned a new host. The family pool with Carla and the activities they provide were great additions to our stay, I think my daughter (Age 4) would have preferred we stayed there from open to close. Food and drinks at Es Niu were also very good. The resort wasn’t especially busy when we were there, but the perks of Family Selection were not well communicated. I wasn’t sure if we were allowed to use the pool at TRS (adults only of course) or not, also not clear on the beach which area is for Family Selection. We had popcorn brought to our room by the Family Host, as I saw someone else with it otherwise I would not have known it was available. The Food: Generally I would say the food was quite good. Italian restaurant and Sports Bar, I would skip next time. Highly recommend Piacere for amazing coffees by Karim and their desserts! Wings at Thai, a must!

I have travel around the world and I have never seen such an impressive resort like GP Costa Mujeres. Is a brand new, well thought facility. Most of the staff are still in training and learning in the process but they don't stop short in trying to make everyone visit unforgettable.

My opinion hotel is not ready to accept people. The food is terrible . the beach is terrible, there are no toilets on the beach, there is no food either.hotel maximum 2 stars but not 5
