Hostel One Madrid

It's much better than you could expect. Firstly, location and good rates, everything was clean including the room, the bed was comfortable, the bathroom is newly renovated and the A/C works perfectly specially in the hot summer of Madrid and last but not least, an special mention for the dedicated staff, they were amazing and beyond! I strongly recommend this hostel and for sure I'd love to be back and book my next staying here. Thanks for everything!

The space felt very homey. The staff were very kind and willing to help with anything. My luggage got lost at the airport and the staff helped me call the airline and talked to them in Spanish for me! I really appreciated their kindness and knew I chose the right place for our stay in Madrid.

I stayed here for a few days after staying at another, popular hostel in the centre of Madrid. The location was not great and at least a 15 minute walk to the centre. The surrounding area was ok and there are a few small bars around. I liked the fact that they put on activities for the guests which is a great way to get to meet people. As it’s a smaller hostel it is really good for for that so I would recommend if your on your own. They have a meal at 9.00pm for everybody but you have to Be quick as the food will disappear after 2 minutes! The only ‘downside’ to this place is that it is a little dated in comparison to Hostel Mala, which has a great location and very modern furniture. But this is great for couple nights, particularly if you’re on your own. I stayed in a 4 bed room which had it’s own en-suite, though the walls are paper thin and you can hear literally everything when somebody is in the bathroom! They did have a communal bathroom though, which is useful. The lockers can be locked but they aren’t massive and can just about fit a medium size backpack.

This is my first time staying at a hostel and I have to say Hostel One Madrid set the bar very high! Amazing service, staff is very friendly and extremely accommodating. I loved the daily activities to explore the area with other guests. Everyone is super friendly. The location is fantastic, lots of hip bars, food, and away from crowded tourist areas. Directions on website from airport to hostel via metro were extremely helpful. I highly recommend!

Just right place for one night in Madrid near the location we needed to be at. Hostel is simple but friendly, comfortable but expensive.
