Hôtel Splendide Royal Paris - Relais & Châteaux

This quaint hotel had friendly and accommodating staff, who were more than willing to help. The rooms are beautiful and clean. Big bathrooms and comfy beds made this a winner!

Staff are really friendly and helpful. 5 star treatment for sure. Room very good size. Our view was great. Breakfast was excellent and included. It’s worth every dollar that you pay. Will definitely stay there again.

Excellent small boutique hotel though it lacked amenities we are used to. Great location and the staff was very good. Denise was especially helpful at the front desk.

We recently celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary in Paris and stayed at the Hotel Splendid Royal Paris. From the well appointed suite to the excellent restaurant on-site, Hotel Splendide Royal Paris offers a wonderful boutique experience you’d expect from a Paris luxe hotel. The central location made it easy to walk to many museums and sites. The Hotel is very charming and the Staff is really professional and helpful. This was the perfect place for our stay in Paris and we plan on staying there again on our next visit to Paris.

The previous reviews of the caliber of the staff here were not wrong. We have stayed at the Park hyatt and Four Seasons hotels on this particular trip through Europe and the team at Hotel Splendide were by far the best. Excellent restaurant suggestions by Denise and an all around great bunch of people.

I would give the hotel a rating of 3.8/5 on account of my extended stay and some issues the hotel has. For short term stays, or stays without kids, the hotel could be rates between 4.5 or 5. The hotel is very well located. The staff is extra ordinarily attentive and genuinely helpful (not common). The rooms are also well decorated. The problem is room service. Any 5 star hotel should garantee 24 hour room service and a dedent menu of international options. The Splendide dows not. We came in August and they told us the restaurant was closed and they did not have any evening offering. That we could order from a food app and they can help deliver the food to the room (we did and with some UBER issues). Other thing: breakfast menu quite limited and they would charge separately for things like omelette. Gym. No offer inside. In the webpage they offer they can arrange nearby. I inquired and the price was €55 per HOUR!!! No exercise then. Also TV rooms are set so as to prevent you from watching streaming TV. Other recent hotels stayed in even offer now Apple Tv s for free (the case of Four Seasons), others offer DVDrs with connection to Netflix and other streaming services or Tv preloaded with the application. It is really a thing of the past to not ket your guests use any kind of connectivity (I tries several of my appliances and they not work given the blocking devices attached to the TV.

Staff is OUTSTANDING. Location great as well, close to many attractions but on a hidden, very quiet street.

Beautiful hotel- Five Star hotel in every way. Will stay there whenever we are in Paris or their other properties in Italy.
