Hotel Sunset Terrace

I loved staying here (my second time). Staff is always so kind and accommodating and the rooms are beautiful and comfortable and clean. The bathroom and shower area are also very nice and shockingly spacious! Thank you for giving me two great experiences at this hotel!

Love the vault designed hotel door!

Sunset Terrace'S location is rather deep in so you need a car. 10mins drive to American Village. The hotel room door is like a bank vault and it felt strangely safe. Big bathroom with a big bath tub which is great. There is no electric point near beds. There is no housekeeping during stay so its perfect for a 2 days short stay. Privacy granted. Exchange used towels via a small window. No breakfast. 2 bottles of mineral water provided everyday. Like a studio apartment, spacious and comfortable. Rather new facilities. The tiny balcony offers a side angle view of the sea. 8mins walk to the coast for jog or stroll. Love it.

The location of the property is only ok because there’s only a handful of restaurants that are within walking distance. It’s a very residential neighbourhood and the corner store (family mart) is about a 10 min walk away. Second you hear during day jet landing quite frequently as you’re near a military base. It’s quiet after sunset. You’re right near the sea wall which nice to walk along. You have a beach nearby but it’s not the best as there’s a lot sharp rocks some shoes are required to go in the ocean.

Beautiful, relaxing room in Chatan

This hotel was amazing. The pictures for this hotel does not do it justice. Our room was huge and really nicely decorated. It even had a Japanese style table and chairs! The bathroom was also very large with a huge shower and separate spa-like bath. If you are looking to stay in Chatan, then this is the hotel to stay. If you have no car, be prepared to have to walk to some shopping. It was expensive to get a taxi from the airport to this hotel, but there is a bus that will take you, but the bus stop would require some decent walking first (which didn't work for us due to heavy luggage). Beach is right behind hotel and there was a great scuba diving shop in the area that picked us up from the hotel. Overall, I would recommend this hotel. It is the best value for room size that we found in Japan and the room is a 5 star quality room.

Great hotel

It’s a great small hotel, at a great location, close the U.S bases for those who is on business trip and great location for those who are on vacation. Great and friendly staff, very affordable rates. Would highly recommend and will stay with again.
