We enjoyed our stay in Reykjavik, it was a trip of a lifetime! Plenty of restaurants and wonderful bakeries. On a particular rainy day we went to the Flyover Iceland. Very well done and we totally enjoyed ourselves! We also went to the whale museum.

Other than the bus drivers, who were truly hit-or-miss, I found most people in Reykjavik friendly, if a bit more reserved. I felt very safe in the city and walked most of it every day. The Food Halls around town are pretty spectacular and affordable!

I enjoyed Reykjavik. I wish I was able to see a lot more of the nature and go outside of the city center. I did manage a spa visit to the Blue Lagoon, which I loved sooo much. I spent 7 hours there in the lagoon and enjoyed the Lava Restaurant, too.

Reykjavik is the perfect Winter long weekend break. Most popular tourist activities can be covered in a 4 day stay. Be aware it's dark until nearly 11am in early January. It's quite expensive to eat out but there are lots of good Happy Hour deals.

Absolutely loved the city! Very walkable, tons to see, great shopping and dining! Loved going to the museums, especially the Perlan. Enjoyed wandering and exploring on our own but walking with a guide would have been good, too! What a great place!

Reykavik is such a beautiful town. We went in February with a lot of snow and some icy sidewalks but using our snow boots and snow gear was great to walk around. Lots of restaurants and options for all. People were so nice and it's a safe town.

Lovely city to visit, recommend it to everyone. Many day trips available and an easy city to walk, very safe, many places to eat and drink. Lots of scenic beauty around it too, and a convenient bus service to get to places without a car.

A car is a must in Iceland to see everything. Long distances between amazing sights. 2 days in Reykjavik is enough. Take time to explore. Bring warm waterproof hiking clothes, even in August! Very expensive once in a lifetime trip.

Reykjavik was amazing. Great shopping and boutiques. It is worth noting however that all the busses are on the perimeter of the city and the centre is a hill so you need to walk at least 5-10 minutes to get into the centre.
"So unique from the second you step in the door. The front desk staff (shoutout to Daniel) are exceptionally friendly and helpful. The decor of the lobby area is perfect with lots of seating and cute little seating areas as well as being attached to the restaurant.
The rooms are small but perfectly laid out and decorated. I loved having a balcony looking out at the marina.
The bathroom amenities are amazing (L’Occitane), and the room comes with a nice will blanket for cool nights (or balcony sitting).
Being right in the marina it’s slightly outside of all the city centre hype, but a super easy and scenic walk in.

"We had a great stay. The hotel was reasonable and the location awesome. Breakfast had many options, my super picky 10 years old found new things to try. On the negative side, the bathrooms are very tiny (shower where a grown up can barely turn) and they could be cleaner (e.g. the shower curtains should be replaced/washed for each guest - it was rather disgusting)."
