Holiday Inn Express & Suites Williams, an IHG Hotel

It was ok.

Could use some repairs. Door knobs in bathroom were faulty and the fold out didnt work probably. They were supposed to bring a roll away while we were gone and never did. We also had to wait for breakfast food. It was a good location but needs some tlc and more staff but they are likely under staffed like everyone else.

Supposedly this hotel was just built a few years ago but it feels like a much older hotel with no maintenance done. The elevator was missing a button and the button cover was broken and hanging sideways. There were stains on the couch in the room and damaged drywall in the bathroom around the shower stall. Overall, the hotel seemed old and dirty.

The man who checked us in was friendly and helpful. However, the whole hotel had a bad smell which was overwhelming. The fold out couch was all ripped up, but I told my daughter not to judge it by its “cover.” However, it was even worse once we opened it up. The “mattress” had horrendous stains all over it and a gigantic dip in it. We made it up with the clean bedding provided and decided it was still unsleepable. Ended up with a kid in the queen sized bed with my husband and I to make up for it. There was a heard of elephants running and jumping non-stop above us for over 4 hours. At 8:55pm, I couldn’t take it anymore. I called the front desk to ask when quiet hours were. I was told 9pm. I replied “thank goodness because I’m about to snap” and then he said, “well, 9, 9:30, 10” so I said, “wait a minute. You just said 9 now you’re saying 9, 9:30, 10” and he replied, “well it’s between 9 and 10.” Uhhhh…..anyway, he said he’d call and ask them to quiet down. It did get a little better after that. The pool and hot tub were very cloudy. The laundry room had 1 working washer and 3 working dryers. The breakfast buffet was empty of utensils, bacon, sausage, and omelettes. The tables and chairs were not a match (high table with chairs that were severely stained and so high that you couldn’t put your legs under the table). The lobby looks nice when you walk in, but that’s about all the place had going for it. Very surprised since Holiday Inn has historically been a decent hotel

Clean & great location.

We had a lovely overnight stay at this hotel. Room was comfortable and clean (i checked eveything). My family enjoyed the complimentary breakfast. I love that everything was local but not too close to feel cramped. They also offer free car charging to paid guests.

Very dirty and no staff support all night

The room was disgusting. The chair in the room was massively stained and the place smelled musty. The TV next door was on all night and there was no night staff to support getting it turned down or off.

We only stayed for one night but as other reviews state, the beds were really uncomfortable. The beds are firm/hard and the pillows are so soft and offer no support. I woke up with neck pain and tossed and turned all night. The hotel itself looks pretty decent and the rooms are nicer than some of the other properties in the area. The complimentary breakfast was nice and had a decent amount of options. Had the beds been more comfortable, this property would have hit it out of the park for what it was.

Be careful of price disparities

The hotel was good, but I was provided one price from Hotels.com and charged another. At this time I'm still working on resolving this, but Im afraid nothing will come of it.
