Villa Sasoon - CHSE Certified

We spent 7 days in Villa Sasoon and it was outstanding. If you like privacy and peacefulness, you should definitely book this villa. The staff was very helpful, friendly, and professional in arranging all our excursions. They breakfast is prepared daily for you and the choices and tastes are excellent. The local area is not as busy or crowded as the more popular areas in Bali such as Ubud or Seminyak. But it does provide some good restaurants for dining. If you want a nice, romantic, and private place to vacation away from crowds, I recommend this villa. You’ll not be disappointed for the price.

All is perfect. The only issue we met is food. Strongly recommend to take some in supermarket at Denpasar for breakfast.

SENSATIONAL VILLAS

We had 2 nights at Villa Sasoon and wished we could have stayed longer. The private pool and size of the villas was amazing. All the staff, from the front desk through to the pool guy and our own personal chef, were exceptional. Tastefully decorated, spacious, meticulously clean, we enjoyed every aspect of our stay here. Lazing around our own pool under the fragrant frangipani trees, watching the coconut palms gently sway in the ocean breeze, it was just magic. We had 10 days in Bali, staying in 5 different villas in other parts of Bali, and Villa Sasoon was definitely the pick of the bunch for us. Candidasa itself, was a real treat after the busy streets of Seminyak and Ubud. A laid back vibe and how Bali used to be! I would recommend these villas to anyone, great value for money and exceptional service.

Gorgeous outdoor space

We absolutely loved this villa! We enjoyed the huge outdoor space with our own private pool which meant that we had sun all day. Really comfy bed complete with mosquito nets so you can sleep easy. The villa is really close to nearby bars and restaurants. We had an incredible meal at Vincent’s on one of their jazz evenings. Strongly recommend going diving and snorkelling in the area too.

Villa Sasoon is beautiful. It is even better than the photos. The whole character of the villa is oozing romance in a tropical paradise. Lovely buildings with grass thatched rooves and fitted out with quality furniture. Large warm private pool, lined with palms and frangipani trees. Outside shower, total privacy, good a/c, lovely gardens and even your own fish pond at the front of your villa. Its a short walk down a lane way to Candidasa and a host of restaurants, which is the only thing that prised us out of our villa. Quality accommodation .

Gorgeous Villa - Perfect Stay!

We stayed in Villa 4 and it was simply gorgeous. We stayed over Christmas as two couples. The space was just wonderful to swim, relax, drink and play cards by the pool. The two bedrooms in separate villa pods were extremely comfortable and spacious, each with their own ensuite. The in-villa breakfast service was lovely (although it would have been nice to see an Indonesian brekkie of nasi goreng or mie goreng on the menu). Ada and the rest of the staff at Villa Sasoon were professional and friendly. If we ever return to Candidasa then we would absolutely stay again and happily recommend to friends. Would we go back to Candidasa though?....not sure. It's a bit too quiet and didn't seem to have much of a 'town vibe'. Possibly because the town stretches for quite a few km along the main road so you don't get a good concentration of restaurants, bars and people. Nevertheless, if you're here to explore East Bali on day trips and enjoy the actual villa, then Villa Sasoon is perfect. Tip: We tried a number of the nearby massage places and the best one by far was Sari's (about 2 mins walk and the closest once you're on the main street). My husband and friend both get regular sports remedial massages in Sydney and are a bit fussy, but they both agreed the girls at Sari know how to give a firm massage and to feel where the pressure is actually needed. Best $10 AUD for a 1 hour massage spent!

A touch of class in Candidasa

Villa Sasoon is a laid back luxurious place - immaculately kept sprawling villa with separate bungalows for bedrooms and living spaces in your own private villa. It is a nice place to chill out and relax by the pool. Balinese always seem to be friendly but the Villa Sasoon people seemed like family. Somehow they worked out it was my birthday while I was there and went out of their way to make it a special day with special decorations and a little party that night.
