Ocean Villa Inn

This is a nice place to bring dogs with a few minor problems. Older building so if you’re staying on the first floor dog friendly rooms the noise from above is very loud . The rooms also smell like pet urine .

The motel was ok. Somethings needed updated for example our tub was cracked so a little dificult to negotiate. There was no plastic lining for the shower curtain so after 4 showers the floor in the bathroom got real damp. Some things that could help would be a door mat to catch sand at the door because no matter how hard we tried we still had sand in our beds. Being that the motel caters to dogs we didn't have one but our room had sliding doors to the dog run. There was a poop scoop that had poop in it all week that didn't get emptied all week, unfortunately the air conditioner is draws air from that area and needless to say we couldn't use it because if the smell. The location is right on the beaches so that was nice.

I read the review of this property and it says it was good..And definitely not..the only ones that was right was , it was a pet friendly.. The property has its own lil secured space for my dogs. Staff are friendly. Location is good. Beside this property is to old , they do not clean their room the right way. I bought a big room for ne my son and 2 dogs when we enter the room , its smell like bleach and after a couple of hours , it's starting to smell like dogs i mean strong dog's per smell . My dogs just got groomed before we came. And it got stronger everyday . So contacted housekeeping , she told me she is not allowed to clean my room ( convid protocol) so i got a mop and floor cleaner from her and clean the floor everyday hoping the smell go away but instead the smell gotten stronger until me and my son is getting really sick. I have to buy my own frebreeze hoping it will take care of it and no it didnt. Just to let you know their housekeeping is only covering this smell by bleach. I told front desk and they took away the $35 pet free. I don't recommed this property

The hotel was ok. It could really use an good updating. The location was great as it was right next to the beach, which made the view from the balcony very nice. Overall our stay was ok for the one night.

This hotel is amazing for the price. My family and I had a wonderful time and I was comfortable with the kids (teens) going to the beach alone!

At check in girl was short kinda rude . We didn't get maid service and I had to get towels on second day . Most of all homeless camp outside our balconly with trash and many people coming through bushes .

The reason they booked was because they would allow our dogs for a minimal fee. We booked a studio because it was supposed to be quieter. Well it was not quiet, it was run down, and the beds were so uncomfortable. We woke up in pain every morning. The entire place needs updating not just to paint over the issues.

We stayed 3 days during COVID-19 pandemic which probably makes a huge difference. The pool was closed, and no room service. After 3 days of being at the beach you definitely need clean sheets, floors swept, clean towels, trashes thrown, etc. The hotel is a little dated but large. Had a mini refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker. No iron. It had a gated patio for the dogs. The walls are super thin. I woke up several times frightened when I would here a door slam, motorcycle start, and loud voices. great location! We picked this hotel because of its proximity to the dog beach. Super close, great trails, also walking distance to restaurants and convince stores.

When we arrived, the "upgraded" room we were originally given was dirty (beds unmade, clearly guests had been staying there). Then the other "upgraded" room we were given, the keys didn't work. We spent about 30 mins trying to get into a room. The beds are also extremely uncomfortable, as are the pillows. Would not recommend this inn to my worst enemy.
