Forte16

Forte16 was a great aparthotel which was only about 15 minutes walk to Duomo. Everything felt very new and clean. It is very quiet in the hotel despite being on a fairly busy road. There was a great rooftop where they have a hot-tub which you can reserve.

Location was great, rooftop terrace has great views over the city. Would recommend to friends and family.

Great location if you want to drive into Florence and park your car. The hotel is walkable to all sites but still in a sweet neighborhood with nice cafes etc. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean and really ideal for a family of 4.

Loved this hotel and highly recommend it, but note that it’s a hike from the city centre. The studio was spacious, modern and clean. Pillows were plush but the beds were firm. It was fantastic to be able to enjoy an indoor pool when we stayed in December. The pool lighting changes colours, as does the sauna and steam room that both have music piped in. The pool didn’t open until 11am while we were there so we couldn’t use it one last time on the day of our departure. Nice touches included the complimentary welcome bottle of wine in our room, as well as the bath robes and slippers to use when going to the spa and pool. The kitchenette was stocked with enough utensils to make our own breakfast and dinner. A Coop supermarket is about a block away - also a good place to buy practical souvenirs (I bought truffle oil, Marvis toothpaste, Manetti Roberts rose water, and Pocket Coffee espresso to bring back to Australia). A good place for dinner nearby is Fortevino, with friendly service and yummy food. The hotel reception staff were very helpful and sold us bus tickets. This was our favourite place to stay during our travel though Italy.

the location of the hotel is good you have enough space in the room but make up the room every two days or you have to pay an extra 20 euro

Really clean and perfectly located between the tourist area and the residential area.

Love love my room, big and comfortable. Shower a bit small but was not a problem at all. Like the kitchen area and was quiet. Staff wonderful

The place is extremely modern, clean, and well-maintained; the staff is very friendly and very helpful; and the location is excellent- just outside the hustle of the central city but very convenient to all the city’s high points.
