Great place for families who enjoy the beach and visiting the big banana. Very expensive for what is available in this area. The roads are a mess at the moment with the new bypass being built.

The Clog Barn was my favourite destination, aside from the Big Banana. The butterfly sanctuary was a bit disappointing as the plastic dinosaurs have taken over.

Its a good spot to stop overnight whilst commuting up or down the coast.
"Everything was great. We checked in late and left early, but this was accommodated by the venue. The only issue was the hot water took ages to come on, and even though they have signs up saying it will take a while, I wasn't prepared for the actual time it took. This would be my only greivence, as everything else was amazing. And when the water did come on it was fine, and they have the removable nozzles, so that was even better."
"We had a great stay at Emerald Beach! The site was clean, peaceful, and well set out. We had two cars and were still able to park comfortably by fitting the second car sideways in front — no hassle. The staff were also amazing — our son left behind his Labobo doll, and they contacted us straight away to let us know. We're now in the process of getting it back. Really appreciated the friendly service and attention to detail!"
