This was our first time in Japan and I am happy we stayed in Yokohama. Access to the train stations is close. We walked to many places and there was an abundance of food and shopping options. The Sky Tower is a must! Night and/or day!

Yokohama is a sweet place to visit. Many shops and adorable considerations for many cultures and religions. Endless dining! It was easier to find vegan and vegetarian options than in Tokyo. People are relaxing and walking the harbor.

It is a port city. For an archipelago nation, the desire to go beyond the ocean must have been ardent in everyone's heart It is still visited by tourists of every nation, interesting museums, Chinatown, great food somewhat less expensive than Tokyo.

Yokohama is better option to Tokyo if have no specific businesses in Tokyo. Trains allow for easy access to Tokyo without having to deal with Tokyo all day. Yokohama has an 'easy-going ' feeling and feel less crowded.

If you're not always in a hurry, Yokohama is a nice place to stay while you commute between Tokyo using the super convenient train lines. From where I stay, I've got Minatomirai station (metro) and Sakuragicho station (JR), both offer express rides.

City felt very quiet, and there is a lot Hawaiian and American themed things around. Very walkable. Don't need to spend too many days to see most major sights here. 3 days to see most major things is sufficient.

Yokohama is a very historic city.New towns and old towns merge. There are many good restaurants with good access to sightseeing in Tokyo and Kamakura. It's a very nice city.
"The hotel stay was a great option for travelers not wanting to be in the busiest parts of Tokyo. It is quiet and there are enough amenities for the everyday need. You will need to use public transit and/or taxi to go to restaurants or shopping. In conclusion the hotel and staff are great and you're not too far from Shibuya and Shinjuku. So if you don't mind having an authentic Japanese experience by using public transit(which connects directly to the hotel) then the Hotel Villa Fontaine is a good option for the price."
"We decided to stay at the hotel because they are a part of Disney Resort Partner Hotel. The price was very reasonable and they have a hot spring (onsen) which was so great! My sons loved Emion Hotel Tokyo Bay and they all said they want to be back next year! The staff were all very friendly and nice. The location was good! We were able to take an airport shuttle to Haneda airport at a nearby bus stop. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! "
"I wish I read the instructions folder in my room with all the facilities available. Lots of help items the hotel can supply. You get 2 bottles of water a day with new towels every day. The iron board which square and just a flat board was a challenge. Great view from my room I was quite high. Lifts go 8th floor then you need your hotel card in the other lifts to reach your room. Amazing location and checkout was my fastest ever. "
