We love the fact that you could walk out of your room and take a few steps and be snorkeling or scuba diving. The staff all those that work there were fantastic and super friendly. We can’t wait to come back!!

I believe I had the best vacation experience of my life. The dive shop is right within the resort premise, and boat leaves off of the property, that was extremely convenient! I dove for 3 days, each day we saw something different. I was a little rusty on my buoyancy, my dive master Julio was extremely helpful, and in my consecutive dives I was super confident and went upto 80 feet. Oh the restaurant was too good, and the staff there was really awesome, we were treated like royal king and queen; food was brought in to the pool area, drinks served. The breakfast included was absolutely phenomenal. Downtown was in walking distance, just start walking north you will end up at Cozumel museum in 30 minutes. The only complain I have is the hotel told me Covid testing was $50 pp, but I found another pharmacy shop that charged me $30. Mexican people in general may not be trusted when it comes to money, but other than that this resort far exceeded my expectations! Thank you so much…

We enjoyed their food everyday. Trying to eat somewhere else just made us go back to their restaurant. Of course their personnel were super friendly and courteous all the time.

The staff was friendly and the view was wonderful, but you can hear everything from the road and are woken up early every morning to them moving the dive tanks.

This is an ideal place to base your landbased dive week in Cozumel from... close to town (easy walk or short, inexpensive cab ride), close to Chedraui (local, very nice grocery/department store), great on-sight dive op, fresh water pool; water coolers on every floor for refilling your bottles; great staff! on site restaurant for bfast & snacks is reasonably prices (breakfast usually included w/ room or dive package); very convenient shore dive entry ... great! for checkout and/or night dives. but..... the building is showing its age... wear & tear on rooms; very low shower flow; lumpy futon style mattresses that sux; dock has taken some hits during last few storms and is in need of some work; steps from pool down to dock are gone... pathway around can be slick ... bring water shoes; love this shop and will be back but hope they make some room repairs;

We have stayed at the angel 6 times and love it. The restaurant is great, the views are spectacular, and the staff is fantastic. Being an avid diver, its a great place to stay. The one negative i would note is the dock is in extreme disrepair. Its hazardous and it needs to be fixed. It has been this way for quite a while and every day we use it to board dive boats. Someone is going to get injured or worse on that dock one day, its just a matter of time.
