Residence & Conference Centre - Ottawa Downtown

A lot of construction near by and they start at 7:30 sharp. Also the parking was a bit of a walk. Apparently you cannot park in front of the residence since it’s a city operated lot and you’ll get ticketed if you forget to pay. Otherwise very reasonable in all ways.

It was a tiring and exausted night, at 12 midnight there was a fire alarmed. The water sprinklers at the builiding was broken. It was on 3rd floor where I stayed. Students who rented there (bec the building is located at the back of the University) said that it always happened. It took an hour before they let us come to our rooms. The carpet at 3rd floor was wet. And the people they called to work to dry the carpet and cleaned the area was so noisy during that evening. 2nd fire alarmed at 3am. What a mess in that building!! Few costumer changed their hotel. The manager told me that they will refund the money but they said they will call first hotel.com. and you guys are the one will give the money back. But until now I havent seen any

Couldn’t take a shower as there was no water pressure in the shower.

There was a musty smell in the room overall, which cleared up when I put on the fan Also no hair dryer in the room

Great place to stay. Their new tablet check in system is awkward and time consuming.
