Lovely Reception with friendly staff, room was nice, mirrors were a bit hazy and wooden flooring was falling apart, safe didn’t work.... 20 minute walk from the leaning tower and 10 minutes from the airport

1 mile from the leaning tower - within walking distance, but not in the middle of endless crowds. Staff very nice. I would not be surprised if this hotel was one of the best hoteld in town.

Great location walking distance to the city centre and easy access via bike to a national park. Staff friendly and helpful, the building and rooms are slightly rough around the edges, but I would return. Could do with a kettle in the room.

Lovely hotel, amazing food in the restaurant. Comfy beds & I was impressed with the speakers in the bathroom ceiling. All facilities you possibly need. Our only issue was we’d booked a twin room & for a double however we were only there for one night so it didn’t matter. The hotel is far out from anything else & didn’t seem to have much transportation or other restaurants nearby.

I had asked for a queen bed with a bath. When we arrived were shown a twin bed room with shower. Was told no rooms available then when I complained they found a queen room with shower. I need a bath as I have a problem with my knee and need to soak it. We also asked for late check out which was agreed at 2 pm. We then got staff knocking and phoning why we hadn’t checked out at 12. There is no communication between staff Tbe night manager was very helpful though despite communication problems with his staff. Hotel needs some investment made to bring it up to 5 star. It is a bit shabby. Pool area needs attention.

A/c not effective. Hallway not clean. Daily room cleaning didn’t take away empty bottles or deal with used tea cup. Toilet flush didn’t work properly. Shower was very poor. Had better showers on campsites. Bars not staffed well. Definitely not 5 star. The hotel in itself could be if the management get to grips.

Location ok, walkable to learning tower and restaurants although no pedestrian crossing on busy main road outside hotel. Not suitable for anyone who cannot run/walk quickly to cross. There is a supermarket within walking distance too, and room fridge was only just big enough to fit snack/water supplies. Mini bar prices although not extreme, it was cheaper to buy our own. Pool area although clean lacked enough sun beds and brollies for size of hotel. Some beds were broken. Pool on some days looked murky. Staff were mainly friendly and helpful. Although it took 4 days and 4 requests to a get the tv in our room repaired. No kettle facility. Although we learned late on that we could get Americano coffee for free at the bar. This was not advertised. We actually bought a vacuum flask at a local store which we got the hotel to fill with hot water. Access to pool is from your rooms corridor, there is no access through the downstairs of the hotel. Which was slightly bizarre. We had a poor shower that ran hot and cold, this was mentioned with tv but never sorted. This hotel is advertised as a 5 star but it was not up to the standard we expected. It is tired and in need of a revamp. The hotel restaurant though is very good, if you want a night away from the busy tourist area of the leaning tower. We wouldn’t stay here again.

Lovely hotel - rooms were lovely and staff were very helpful. Further from Pisa than we thought but the walk was nice!

Air con did not work in first room, 2nd after moving was very poor. Staff unhelpful 'what do you want me to do' was the reply after moving to second room with poor air con. Safe did not work in 2nd room and bathroom was smaller than the first. Resturant and bar staff clueless on how to serve, orders incorrect, did not want to give us bill so we could see what they was charging, when they did it was wrong. Certainly not a 5 star hotel. Very far from leaning tower.
