Riad Saba

Decent riad in Marrakech and the location is good since you can get a cab almost at the door. We only stayed here one night. Their staff were helpful and nice. The breakfast was decent. As a coffee adict I really liked their coffee ( and mentioned that this is probably the best coffee we had in Morocoo; not sure this is a + for Riad Saba or a - for other places we visited.)

Great Riad, Better Staff

The property is neat, comfortable, and well maintained. The rooms are spacious and the breakfast fantastic. However, the best part of the experience was our interaction with the staff. Both Jamal and Achraf were genuinely friendly, welcoming, and eager to give us tips to make our trip perfect. 10 out of 10!

Our first visit to a Riad was great and the staff made a huge difference. It would have been nice to have a taxi ready at the airport for us. We had to pay an extra 100 dh because we had no idea what it would cost. Estimate a price and let us know first or pick us up.

Beautiful and quiet riad, close to Jemaa el Fna

We had an amazing stay at Riad Saba! The riad is only a 5 minutes walk to Jemaa el Fna, but is away from the hustle and bustle of the square, and is gorgeously peaceful. Taxis can drive you to the door of the riad, so transfers from airports are seamless, and if you are being picked up for an excursion then you dont need to worry about be able to find your driver. The breakfast the provide each morning is lovely, with bread bread, fresh fruit, pancakes, yoghurt, eggs, cheese, honey and jams, as well as fresh juice, tea and coffee being served. The room we stayed in (ocean room) was absolutely lovely, very clean and neat, with a gorgeous bathroom. There is a speaker that plays the call to prayer only just outside the bathroom window, which did wake us up on the first morning, but once you close the bathroom window and door the room is silent. The roof terrace is absolutely wonderful, and we spent many hours on it relaxing of the loungers with our books, and it was such a welcome respite from the busy city. The staff couldn't have been more helpful and accommodating. We wouldn't hesitate to book this riad again in the future if we return to Marrakech!

Friendly and welcoming staff, although we didn't speak French or Arabic so limited understanding of each other. Eg, the info book in the room said an Atlas day trip would be 100Dh but we were verbally told it would be 850Dh per person, which I put down to translation problems (the price through agencies is 150/200 per person). Overall very clean and tidy, basic but gorgeous decor and all very comfortable. Great breakfast!

Lovely stay in Riad Saba

Me and my family stayed at Riad Saba for 2 nights. Location was very convenient. Hotel was very nicely decorated, very authentic. Jamal, the manager, was VERY friendly, helpful. He is very fluent in English which is a very rare thing there in Marrakech... We had a wonderful stay there, rooms were clean. Breakfast was nice. The terrace on the roof was lovely. We strongly recommend this hotel.

Beautiful Riad!

We have just had a lovely holiday at Riad Saba - it is beautifully decorated, clean and walking distance to the central square in Marrakech. The owners are very helpful, and the staff are very warm and welcoming. Definitely suitable for children too. Having breakfast on the terrace was an absolute delight. Overall it was a five-star experience. Thank you!"

Convenient, beautiful and homey

Great location (albeit a bit hard for us to find, but that goes with a lot in Marrakech Médina - excellent parking options very close by though...) and very friendly staff that catered their best to all our needs. Lovely decorations, rooms and atmosphere and absolutely wonderful breakfast that made us feel just like home.

Penny pinching management

This riad has a sad, low energy feel to it. The room was dark and dingy with old, dirty looking sheets that were the wrong size for the bedding. The AC was not working and it can get pretty hot in Marrakech. The breakfast plates were chipped and dirty, with a sticky film day after day. The "orange juice" they serve is neon colored, mixed with orange drink powder. The streets surrounding the villa are lined with beggars and it is generally in an uninteresting part of the Medina. If you are traveling with children, beware of the fine print. According to their policy, if you are a couple staying with 2 kids, you are to rent two separate rooms. This is regardless of the age of the children. Also, they advertise a roll away bed for 30 MAD on Expedia. But upon arrival they told us that was a mistake and they meant EUR 30.
