The Chateaux Deer Valley

The free breakfast is THE BEST, although you are encouraged to tip. They change up the breakfast every day too. All hotel services were excellent, loved the stay.

Amazing stay. Not great communication with front desk but overall excellent stay.

The rooms did not match what was advertised in the photos, we went expecting the luxury that is in the photos and instead received a very dated looking room. Also had difficulty filling the tub. I would not recommend this hotel based on our experience.

Super clean, warm blankets and bedding smelled of bleach, which i enjoy. Place was immaculate and we took advantage of the fireplace as it was a chilly night.

Pros- BEAUTIFUL property and excellent customer service from Adrian. The best service we have received at ANY place we have stayed at. He makes us want to go back. The bathing items provided smell amazing! The garage is heated and there's no cost for parking. The fire place was perfect to set the mood. Cons- The studio we stayed in was less functional than we'd like as we had to move a heavy coffee table out of the way in order to use the bed. Once the bed was down you couldn't get to the other side of the room. The set up was just wrong and made it feel cramped. The bathrooms were a lot less clean than we like. Didn't feel clean especially the shower. Mold was visible. Huge con, the walls are paper thin. You can literally hear every single thing from the neighbors, I seriously mean even when they close the door to their bathroom. There's no privacy as you can't even feel like you can talk otherwise the neighbors would hear you too. Very rough sleep even with earplugs.

The staff is fantastic. However, the bed was awful. The mattress needs to be replaced. I was offered 6 pillows and a comforter to counter the hole in the middle.

It was absolutely an amazing location. I wish it was easier to get in the office and clearer. But other than that! I thought this place was my favorite location in park city I’ve ever stayed in.

We couldn’t figure out the air conditioning, we’d set it to 68 degrees (we like it cold) but it always felt hot. The beds were super soft which I loved. The fireplace was beautiful. The front desk staff were so kind; they made our stay!! I can’t say enough good things about the staff! All in all; The rooms were a little small, no air conditioning, and we found a beetle on the middle dresser (ew)! For the price I think we expected a little more.

The Chateaux is a beautiful hotel with nice rooms. We loved our king bed, the large shower, the spacious room, and the parking. It was comfortable and felt relaxing. A couple problems: the bed squeaked at every movement. The mattress was comfortable but the frame was obviously cheap. We notified the desk, so hopefully they’ll fix the problem. Also, our DirectTv didn’t work. We were too tired to call the front desk, and didn’t feel like having hotel employees intrude on our space, so we didn’t tell them until the end, but just an inconvenience. Lastly, we were there in October during Park City’s off-season and so not all amenities were provided. It felt a bit like we weren’t “worth” the effort. Plus, the hotel and city still appeared very busy.

The property is beautiful and could be such a great place; however the property did not communicate that not one amenity was open. It was advertised that breakfast would be included and restaurant open. We checked in and not one thing was one nor anything offered.
