Ellington at Wachesaw Plantation East a Ramada by Wyndham

Bathroom in master not clean. Sinks in guest bathroom wouldn’t drain and were rusted, molded, needed to be changed out badly. Roach in dishwasher. Carpet filthy. Had loud guests with kids on floor above us, who kept running through the property the entire day, from 5 am until. It was terrible. A relaxing birthday trip, was anything but that. Contacted front desk, nothing was done about the noise. Place needs a thorough cleaning and a good extermination and wouldn’t help to have a little updating. I would never consider thjs as a time share option.

This was our first time at Ellington and it was a pleasant surprise. We did not expect several rooms nor a decent size kitchen. The sitting room/kitchen was a bonus. We’ll be back!

So, it was like a block party in the section that we were in. So many people that we did not go to any of the pools. Parking was ridiculous-for the most part, could not find a spot close to the bldg that we stayed in. This place could really use an update-carpet in hallway leading to the villa door was very worn. Villa was okay-beds were not comfortable. Sofa bed was very uncomfortable. Sink in master bath was plugged up. Called to have maintenance take care of that-never was taken care of. Door to second bathroom toilet was loose. Refrigerator leaked water onto top shelf into the refrigerator. Carpet in living room was stained. Would we stay again?-no.

Our stay was awesome. The accommodations were very comfortable, clean and convenient to lots of restaurants, shopping and the beach. The staff was helpful, professional, and friendly. Great experience!!!

Screened in patio was torn, and bugs were EVERYWHERE. Would’ve loved to enjoy the night air but got eaten up by bugs. Fix the screens! Everything else was pleasing! Neighbors were loud but not the resorts fault. The staff was wonderful, reaches out multiple times to ensure we were ok.

We stayed at the Ellington Wachesaw Plantation East resort for my daughter's CCU move in. Although the resort is a bit of a drive from the CCU campus, it was easy to navigate the area. We loved being so close to the MarshWalk and the restaurants in Murrells Inlet. The one bedroom condo was a great size for the 3 of us. Had a fully stocked kitchen and nicely arranged bathroom with 2 sinks and plenty of counter space. We were pleasantly surprised at check in that our stay included a free pass to get into the state parks. Beautiful beaches and amentities at the Huntington State Park nearby. With our daughter being at CCU we plan to make several trips to this area and would definitely stay here again.

Resort has an amazing location and accommodations are very nice, but they were definitely not clean. We found something under every bed, behind nightstands and there was hair in the bathtub. Look at the picture of the vent in the hallway. One picture in the living room was crooked. We were going to straighten it, but it was nailed that way. I hate I only took the one picture. Also, when we tried to speak with the front desk about issues, they were rude and unhelpful.

Beds and pillows were not good, really cut into our ability to sleep and rest. We loved everything else about the place though!

I try to call front desk couple of times and they never pick up the phone, the staying was good but the sofa and individual seat in the leaving room wasn’t to clean, beds and blankets was nice and clean, the sofa bed it’s old and not to clean, but that was a good stayed, after all we have a good time. 😀
