The restaurant was way over priced. We paid £171 for a meal for 3 of us. My 16 year old daughter doesn't eat much, but we had no option as Bodmin only offer Al a Cart which is fine if that's what you want.

The nearest town is Wadebridge. Worth a visit and some nice coffee houses. Very handy for Camel trail
"Jenny was a wonderful host. Hot individual selected breakfast items freshly cooked. Delicious and lots of choices. I loved the eggs with smoked salmon. Room was lovely. Historic old Benedictine abbey modernized. Lanivet Inn walkable and recommend it for dinner. Would stay at Abbey again if visiting Cornwall."
"Lovely little hotel.
Staff very helpful and polite.Even offered to carry out case to the room
Room was immaculately clean as were all the public areas
Had a smart TV which was an added bonus.
Lovely complimentary breakfast. Catered for my husband who is gluten intolerant.

"Very nice location, beautiful grounds. Lot of parking space. Nice size rooms.
Bath tub was not very practical, in fact dangerous to stand in when having a shower. No air conditioning in rooms but this was not critical."
"We had a fantastic stay wish we had booked longer , few little issues but eric was brilliant and sorted everything out , we would definitely go back . Thank you Eric and Helen you are brilliant hosts ."
"What an amazing find. Definately be back. Rooms are lovely. Food was amazing. Lots to choose from in the bar. I really enjoyed my stay here. I travel a lot with my job, so when you find a place like this, its makes a huge difference, especially vs those who simply play at it. This place really cares about its customers."
"Lovely room, very comfy bed. Joe the chef is a wizard and Gina behind the bar was super helpful and really friendly. Great atmosphere in the pub. Can’t fault the place "
