Clean and eco friendly

Front desk staff are not very friendly or bubbly. Very, I’m just here to do the job attitude, didn’t even smile. Not just once person but multiple staff were the same way si it’s the cultural. Very clean and love that it’s eco friendly.

Washroom needed fixing of ceramic layer of tub and sink as they were chipped. AIr Conditioning was slow. Comfortable otherwise. Service at Bar was good.

Disappointed

We are returning customers. We have stayed at this property every time we visit Buffalo. However this was the first time back post pandemic. The hotel seemed relatively empty- it felt to us as if it were still closed or operating with 1/4 of the necessary staff. We arrived at our room and when we opened the curtain we were looking at a concrete roof with a pool of stagnant water. If this were the only room available at check in we might understand but why would they not want to give you a view (any view) if they could? .The bathroom also needed a once over with my own Clorox wipes before use. Also one of the duvet covers had a few strands of hair on it. We were not told about housekeeping or lack of it upon check in so when we showered in the morning we put our two towel in the tub and when we returned our room had not been cleaned and our towels were still in the tub wet from the am. We had a dinner to go to that evening so called down to housekeeping (no one picked up) then called the front desk and spoke to someone and found out that they only clean every 5 Days. We were surprised that we were not told this at check in but understood they were still following COVID protocol from a few years ago. We asked for two towels and explained we were in a bit of a rush etc etc The towels NEVER arrived and we had to go down ourselves into the lobby and pick them up!! Restaurant and bar had very limited service. The hotel was eerily quiet with little to no service -disappointing!

Dirty and terrible service

Starting with arrival the staff at the front desk was completely uninterested in providing any sort of help such as giving information about stated amenities, as well as not acknowledging me at the desk, with 4 employees at it, for over 5 minutes. After checking in we were planning on eating, only to find that the restaurant that was listed as a feature was not open on the day we stayed, and was also closed 2 other days every week. The room itself was disgusting, the shower looked like a before picture in a cleaning commercial, there was dust, mildew and hair. I realized the pillow my child was laying on had greasy footprints and food spilled on it, clearly not ours since we had no ability to eat there. The main reason for staying at this hotel was to use the airport shuttle, so I requested the shuttle to pick us up at 5 am the following day, with no wake up call because I wanted my kids to sleep as late as possible. We received a phone call at 4 am wanting to know why we weren’t at the shuttle. We went downstairs at 4:50, to find the driver standing outside smoking and screaming into his cell phone, also not acknowledging us, until 5:05 when we were finally able to board the shuttle. This was one of the absolute worst places I’ve ever stayed and if I had some sort of transportation we would have moved hotels.

All Comes down to your Customer Service

Was on the way to my Mothers funeral. Check in was business like. Stuck me in rear of the hotel on the 2nd floor. Explained house keeping hadn't caught w/ the weekend past yet. Hotel was empty. Asked to upgrade my room (at my cost) My wife works at a desk in Hotels. Strives to be accommodating. Representative at your property was cold and dismissive. Left a wake up call for 4 AM to catch a near by train in Depew. Shuttle left without me. Received a nasty phone call in my room at 3:58 asking where I was ? Explained I would be at the desk in 5 minutes (which I was). Lucky for me the night manager authorized the desk dude to drive me the train station in his personal vehicle. (had to he didn't know how to drive the spare shuttle.) In short ? Mixed feelings. Guess it all comes down to service and quality employees who go the extra mile.

Booked late at night and called hotel immediately to let them know that we wouldn't be there until 3 AM. They said that the system was going to turn over, but they would check us in after we got off the phone. Got there at 3 and they couldn't find the booking. Stood there for 30 min while they tried to figure it out. We finally got a room. Front desk lady originally said they didn't have extra blankets. Pool area is beautiful but closed. They don't say when it will be open. Could be a really nice place, it's just mediocre.

Our stay at this hotel was HORRIBLE. The restaurants were not open, which is one of the reasons we chose the hotel, the restaurant looked awesome but not open.They wouldn't make up our beds nor give us new towels. They wanted us to use the same towels and linens for 5 days which is gross The bathroom was disgusting. There was no coffee in the morning even though there was a coffee section there. Even Sunday morning at 9:10 no f-ing coffee. The front desk wasn't at all. Friendly. So all in all is was a

Costly+unhelpful staff = not good stay

I have stayed in this hotel before for its location and never had any issues. However, after this last visit, I will be looking elsewhere. The front desk associate was not friendly and wasn't helpful. My mother has trouble walking long distances and when asked about where to park to ensure she walked the minimal distance. They said 'sure you can park there if you want' which ended up being so far that it felt like my mother ran marathon by the time we got to our room. The hotel is old and it's showing. I understand costs are going up but I shouldn't be paying over $200/night and getting shady motel quality.

The pictures do not reflect the actually condition of the hotel. It looked a lot nicer on line. In person it was very outdated, and not very clean. I would not stay there again.
