Shouldn’t be marketed on Hotels.com. The rooms with a shared shower/toilet facility is used as a shelter for homeless/socially excluded people and what appeared upon arrival, a place used by people procuring sex workers. Not suitable for paying guests, not vulnerable people. The toilets were filthy and in poor condition. The men’s shower room had three showers - one was broken, so two functioning. The showers were once divided, but the partition was broken long ago.

AVOID!

There is heavy construction going on directly outside the hotel throughout the night (to 4am). This involved pneumatic drills breaking down the road and trucks dumping the broken concrete into a skip. The walls are paper thin and you can hear everything from outside, the rooms above, below and to the side. The corridors and communal areas smell of cigarettes and God knows what. The showers are like a school changing room and one set of showers smelled so bad it almost made me vomit. There are groups of people who are waiting outside the main doors to be let in which does not feel safe. If you look on other Google reviews people keep their pets in the hotel on the beds and I don't think the rooms aren't cleaned enough to remove pet hairs (and whatever else). My skin has come up in rashes after staying(not sure if it's bed bugs). I chose this place because it is conveniently located and cheap as I just wanted a private room to lay my head, with easy train access to the city. I regret choosing here. If you have the means, please spend the little extra to stay somewhere else. I am still suffering the effects of staying there days later.

Får inte vad man bokar.

Bokade en svit med bubbelbad. Bubbelbadet var trasigt. Man marknadsför rummet som en svit med bubbelbad. Skulle vara utcheckning kl 12, städpersonal slängde ut mig kl 10:30 och hävdar att det var utcheckningstiden.

Basic

I didn’t realise that the room I had booked was without an en suite bathroom. My error. The room was small, small bed, small desk, wardrobe and tv. All very basic and a little scruffy. The m Wall paper had been scraped off by the bed. Things like taps in the bathroom, some door handles were loose. Other than checking in or out no staff actually acknowledged me. If you need something basic with an ok breakfast this is a great hotel. It was just a little to basic for my taste.

Easy access 24 hours every day, good size rooms, enough time to serve breakfast, they should just add a little more variety to the menu

Hotell Älvsjö

Overall is ok The share bathroom is needed to improve and provide more facilities such as chairs or hangers. A little bit old feeling especially with the dim lights and the sound insulation of the room is not good, I can hear voices from outside or even next room. The best thing is the hotel is located nearby Alvsjo station.Very convenience to visit.

Fine place to stay not far from Stockholm

Clean and comfortable room, outside bathrooms and showers clean and well kept, fine breakfast included. Close to Co Op supermarket and train station and close to exhibition centre and Stockholm. Interior could be updated in places.

Alsvjo hotel

The room was very nice, a corner room with lots of windows making it light and airey. We upgraded to an ensuite room which was quite a bit more expensive but worth it. Breakfast was simple but good and tea and coffee were available all day. The hotel is very close to the station with excellent links to the city centre. The only downside was my nightmares disappeared, we think it must have been caught up with the sheets when the bedding was changed and hotel have promised to send it to me if found.
