Sundial Lodge, Park City - Canyons Village

There were no instructions provided that we don't check in directly at the Sundial Lodge lobby. Also no wifi password was provided, had to call the front desk and ask for it.

Check in was not pleasant. We had to check in at a completely different property and then come back to the first property.

Although it was clean and the staff helpful and pleasant, the room was dated and worn and in need of updating. Kitchen area was well stocked with utensils and washer/dryer was welcome. Bathroom was tight on space and shower/tub combo was a little difficult to get into and out of due to height. Unfortunately we drew a room on the upslope side which gave a view of a hillside and road. Would likely look elsewhere in future - at least until rooms are updated.

Park City is incredible.

Underground parking was great. Room was comfortable and overall facilities were great! TV in room was old and small...a minor issue. Bathroom wasn’t cleaned completely prior to our stay.

The condo was not very clean or put together at all. There was a half used drink container left in the bedroom, the carpet was very stained and looked dirty. The blinds in the living room were broken, dishes were put away dirty, the kitchen bar stools were dirty and had food and crumbs on them. I was very disappointed with the condition of the room and the cleanliness. I paid a lot of money for my family to stay here for two nights and I expected a lot better.

Rooms were large, but run down. Carpet was worn and doors to the bathrooms looked like they were borrowed from a Motel 6. There was no one at the front desk, so we were told by staff to walk over to the Grand Summit to check in. Very inconvenient. To top it off, when we returned home, we found a handful of pending charges to our account AFTER we'd paid our bill and returned the keys. Took me days to contact someone to get the charges explained or removed - we never made charges to our room, so we were confused as to the additional fees. The entire area is under large construction for new resort hotels and amenities, so the environment is not conducive to "getting away from it all".

A beautiful stay for our honeymoon weekend. We loved it so much!
