Holiday Inn Express And Suites Astoria

First trip to Astoria for my birthday. Hotel was clean and comfortable and the staff incredibly nice. Only problem was children running up and down the hallway and screaming at the top of their lungs at all times of the day - not the hotels fault though.

The hotel is located along the river walk and our room had a bridge/river view; very nice. Service at the front desk was good. The price was high for this type of hotels. The breakfast offerings were terrible, manufactured food with very little nutritional value. The coffee was tinted water. They need to improve the quality of breakfast items, offer some healthy options and fruits, and stronger coffee.

We really liked the location and the room.

Great views of the river and close to lots of great restaurants and bars. Great value!

Amazing stay! We received exactly what we paid for. The room was extremely clean, exceptional room service. We had the view of the Columbia River and watched many boats go by. Also had an electric fireplace in our room which made it nice and comfy. Breakfast was limited. Wonderful front office employees. Will definitely be returning.
