H10 Playa Meloneras Palace

This place is amazing on all levels!!! Me and my partner stayed for 4 nights and planned to move round the coast for 3 nights - we came back after one night as it was that good :) Will definitely be coming back here!

The food was not good, breakfast was fine but everything else was poor

The hôtel was fabulous, the food, service and friendliness was second to none. Jose arranged a beautiful melon arrangement with candles at breakfast when it was my husbands birthday. Z the guest relations chap was amazing. We was so kind to my son and got all the children to play together at the pool with various activities.

Overall, a disappointing experience with this hotel, which I partly blame Hotels.com for the marketing of their, so called, VIP Gold Service. We chose this property on the basis that we should get a free upgrade and late checkout, albeit, subject to availability. I understand that busy hotels cannot always offer this, however, you would expect a commensurate alternative incentive to be offered in the event that the hotel was full e.g. a complimentary meal in their 'a la carte' restaurant instead of the cheap bottle of Rioja which was left in the room on arrival (with no corkscrew to open it!). As for the hotel itself, I'm not sure how it can consider itself to be a 5 star property when there are a number of 4 star properties in the vicinity e.g. Lopesan Villa del Conde, which I would consider at least as good as this one. Some examples of issues include: Wifi - only available in your room once you have gone back to reception to ask for the code! No Kettle in the room. Again, you have to go and ask for it. Dining options are very limited. They only offered a buffet service on HB. Even upgrading to their Privilege service meant you only got 50% off in their A La Carte restaurant. I checked some other 5 star properties in the resort and most offered multiple dining options e.g. Riu Meloneras Palace. I would say, however, that the service staff were very friendly and helpful. Would we go back to Meloneras? most definitely Would we stay at this property? most definitely not

Great hotel-a bit far from main shopping area. No problem for me but may be for less mobile.

Staff extremely friendly and courteous. Convenient and close to the beach and boardwalk. Plenty of options to eat. The all in-clusive was good. Different menu every night. Although eating outside the property would be less expensive and also equally as good. The nightly shows on the property were fantastic. The New Year’s Eve night was also something to remember. Staff was great and very accommodating. Would definitely be back.

Overall very good. Sun beds need cushions,they are uncomfortable. Rooms a little dark & need updating. Would recommend this hotel & would love to return.

I would say it’s only a 3-4 star hotel, not like a 5 star hotel. The environment is good and clean. But the room condition is old and need to be renovated soon. The front desk staff is not as friendly as a 5 star hotel one.

They were not kind. We don‘t have Aircondition. It was very hot in our room. The rest room was vety smal without aircondition. It smell very bad. Our romm was for 3 person too small and very expensiv
