Morrisville began as a small, sleepy farm to market town. Construction of the airport between Raleigh and Durham assured that change would come. For better or worse, it has grown, with RDU, into a small city with all imaginable airport services.

Being right at the Morrisville, Cary, and Raleigh line made it very easy. I loved that the exit for 40 was right there.

There was a lot of construction going on which made driving very confusing. No fault of the hotel.

They have opened a retail area (Galleria) across the street from the hotel. It is like a convenience store but it has several food and drink options. I recommend this place.

Holiday Inn Express Raleigh Durham Airport by IHG
10/10 Excellent
"Our stay was very convenient & near the airport. The hotel is clean, fairly new, & has necessary amenities. Our kids loved the very nice outdoor swimming pool. "
"I LOVED that this property was in close proximity to the airport with shuttle service and an outdoor pool and gym accommodations. While the gym equipment wasn't as plentiful as pictures had shown it did the job for the few days I was there. The pool was awesome, a hot tub would have made it even better but pool was sufficient. The staff and shuttle driver was more than accommodating and I am definitely going back there on my next trip through the RDU area."

"Pros:
The curtains could be drawn to completely block light.
The room was nicely furnished and well equipped, the bed very comfortable, and the bathroom immaculate.
Cons:
The room (221) was colder than I wanted and I couldn’t adjust the AC jso I finally unplugged it.
The closet with the refrigerator and microwave doesn’t smell good and needs airing
I arrived late and left very early so can’t comment on everything but I will return next time I arrive at the airport.
