Little gem of a hotel .quirky italian hotel with friendly , helpful staff..kept us supplied with extra coffee & teabags , supplied wine glasses and opened our wine (we had purchased for room elsewhere) with no fuss ..absolute top service! Its those little extras that count when u stay in a hotel.. yes you could here occasional guests doors opening etc but thats not a major in my book..

Amazing stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful. There wasn't anything the hotel had forgotten to add for our needs which include amenities and breakfast. Loved this tiny hotel tucked away in the back of beyond. Highly recommended.

Location was great for using the exhibition centre, easy bus links into town as well. Great restaurant next door!

Just right... I needed a good hotel, not too expensive, close to the train station and to the center of Bologna. This hotel ticked all the boxes. Reception was great, the room of a good size and clean, service was outstanding, breakfast very good as well. The staff helped me when I needed... Overall a very good experience.

Like 1. The classic historical atmosphere 2. Close (but not too close)....8 to 10 mins walk from Central train station 3. Friendly staff 4. Easy to find 5. Simple breakfast...(do not expect tasty breakfast) It will fill you up..if you are not fuss 6. Breakfast area and front reception area look very nice Ornaments are beautiful 7. Free WiFi 8. Nice lift. And bright lighting in lift 9. With Safe (free) 10. Building looks like has just be redecorated 11. Some local restaurants...cafe and cake shops nearby 12. Only 15 to 20 mins walk to the centre...with lots of historical buildings..churches...and good eateries... The tourist area....we slowly walk there every day....or you can take buses only few stops 1.50 euros for 75 min Dislike 1. Distance to main train station 8 to 10 mins walk 2. The breakfast is too lazily done E.g. with boil eggs..others beans .sausage ..cure ham yogurt ..fruit juice not fresh juice.from cartons....do not taste good....pineapple juice..orange juice grapefruit juice all taste terrible.....have.filter coffee.etc... fruits seem to be there a while.... banana from fridge....cereals ..pastries all taste like from ready made and cheap supermarket brand..... 4. The worst for me...is their towels....all smell VERY VERY BAD....I CANNOT USE.....the worst 5. Our room is at the back...very dark even in the day time If you want some light..ask for the front 6. The light above the TV facing the bed is glaring We need to switch it off....but the room will be dark

Location, helpfulness and service in a bright jolly hotel.

Great place. Really nice breakfast, great service, comfortable and well-maintained room, great being able to borrow a bicycle.

We used the hotel as a base for visiting places by train in Emiia Romagna. It was ideal for this being close to the train station. It is a 20 minute walk from the centre, and, because it is not absolutely in the centre it is very quiet and secluded. There is some parking at an additional charge and you need to book this in advance.

Very nice and comfortable hotel. La suite is incredible and lovely We enjoy our room decorations and the Venetian floor design. Great staff always willing to fulfill our requests even trying to understand and speak in Spanish. Bologna city center is a 10 minute walk and Bologna Centrale train station is a less tha 5 minutes waking Breakfast buffet is included with many option options but you must try the variety of teas and infusions available (Best in Italy) Only one suggestion they had to fix their internet and wifi service with so many access points the made a mess and don't have control of their connectivity (please hire an expert to design a wifi network for your customers)
