Tru by Hilton Charleston Airport

Fit the Bill, although tightly.

Stayed here after waiting too late to book in Mt. Pleasant or closer to city. Decent facilities with good breakfast included. Only surprise was how small the room was. Had staying in a Tru before but maybe in a hc accessible room. No where to open up and store a suitcase, no drawers, no counter space besides one nightstand, so it was pretty tight for family of 4 in one room. Besides this most of the staff was helpful and pleasant with a couple exceptions. Would stay in a Tru again but try to get an accessible room.

Great stay near North Charleston Colliseum

Very clean hotel, well kept lobby, and I absolutely love the eco friendly toiletries. We saw a show at the North Charleston Colliseum and walked across the street and grabbed a shower and were in bed before the parking lots even cleared next door. Great no stress post concert experience. They also sell snacks, cold water, and food downstairs when you come back exhausted from an awesome show.

The staff was super friendly, the rooms were very clean and comfortable. Lovely toiletries. Would absolutely stay here again and recommend to anyone attending anything at the N. Charleston Coliseum. The hotel is located across the street on the back end of the venue. I was able to walk to my show. all in all, a wonderful experience!

Clean, spacious very modern room. Immaculate, modern bathroom with glass enclosed shower. Lobby area like a family room with pool table, board games and plenty of space to gather with friends. Morning breakfast very good, changes each morning. We especially liked the omelettes and sausage breakfast. Have a pancake maker that was popular. Wish they had a waffle maker, but no big deal. 5 stars for us.

Denied a towel

When I asked for another towel I was told by the head housekeeper that it is policy for King size rooms not to have more than 2 towels. All I needed was one towel for my hair and I was refused. I then went and got one from the pool area so I could dry my hair. Never have I been refused an extra towel at any hotel until now.

Would stay again.

Great one night stay. Lovely lobby area with snacks for purchase. Front desk was exceptional. Breakfast smelled good in the morning but didn’t eat due to time crunch.
