Cozy Gem near Manayunk

I am so lucky to discover Philly Inn & Suites, & will try to stay again. I was arriving after midnight from DC, & was able to stay with a prepaid booking- call in advance to confirm a room number. The staff are very generous & location is very close to Manayunk & Wissahickon neighborhoods.

Pleasantly Surprised

Wasn’t sure what to expect as the price was so low compared to neighboring hotels. Spent only one night, but it was good. The gentleman at the front desk was very polite and helpful. The room was just what we needed, not too fancy and enough room for our family of four. The only issue was the faucet in the shower was loose and it was hard to get it to a good, warm temperature with enough water pressure to fully wash and rinse.

We were stuck in Philadelphia because of a car problem on a trip to UPenn for a doctors visit. Way to find, ok rates, nice check in. Not the cleanest room, dirty floors, overly strong room and cleanser smells. Very bright colors, mattress not comfortable, but again, very nice staff and pleasant stay considering the circumstances and late notice.

Oh no, a Gotcha !!!!

As soon as I entered and saw the large bowls of scented smoke, the brusk non welcome come back at 3pm and the gas station with connecting wall and looking into hotel Bedrooms I walked out, didn’t even ask for a refund and went to another hotel. The pics of the outside may be correct With different colors and bright but that is not reality. Sorry. I won’t do this with you again.
