Stayed mid-March during the end of Fallas festival which is extremely noisy with round-the-clock fireworks and firecrackers. If you want a quiet relaxing break this is not the time to go. Great if you want to experience the atmosphere and festivities

If you have been to other larger Spanish cities like Madrid and Barcelona this a much more manageable place to navigate. Most points of interest are located within close radius of each other. I found the city most convenient by bus or walking.

Loved Valencia more than BCN, cleaner, better maintained and managed by the city, will definitely be back. Rented bikes for Euro8 for the day, biked all along the beach and down the park that cuts through the city. Don't miss the main market!

Valencia is a beautiful city. Most places of interest are located in old town however there is excellent public transport all over the city. The beach area is awesome with restaurants and bars located immediately on front of gorgeous sand.

Valencia is underrated among American tourists. It doesn't seem to be on the map. But it has a great old town, a huge beach, excellent food, and is very affordable. And not being overrun by tourists is a big plus.

While in Valencia, definitely do one of the historic walking tours and partake in a paella cooking class. And don't leave without trying the best orange juice in the world.

Our favourite Spanish city, walkable for the most part, with excellent public transport too. Interesting culturally, with lots to do and see. Friendly and safe.
"Our stay at SH Palace Valencià exceeded my expectations. The facility was clean and smelled terrific. The room was spacious and was clean. We planned a trip to Valencia for my husband’s birthday. I booked our stay at SH Palace Valencia aer reviewing previous reviews and it seemed like a great fit. The staff were very pleasant and helpful and also helped us with our parking issue when we arrived. The buffet breakfast was plentiful and tasty. On the day of the husband’s birthday, we went out and enjoyed the scenery, upon our return we had a complimentary champagne and a nice note from the staff to celebrate my husband’s birthday. Our stay at SH Palace Valencia was amazing. If we travel to Valencia again, we will stay there again. "
"The hotel is a lovely and boutique. Located 10 minutes from the Central Market and in good walking distance to many places and restaurant's.
The hotel bar Trotamundo's is a must and Gian Luca and Fabrizio make impressive cocktails...but also give great recommendations' for other places! It has a lovely ambience.
Front of House the staff can't help you enough with restaurant and sightseeing tips. Special shout-out to Guillermo helping with a vineyard tour and positive approach!"
"Lovely stay at this delightful hotel. It was super hot in Valencia but the aircon, pool, and general ease of use of the hotel made it a breeze!
Spa was closed for annual maintenance, which we knew and didn't matter to us.
We had a couple of minor maintenance issues which were resolved very quickly and efficiently.
Staff were unfailingly polite, friendly and helpful.
The only thing we'd mention is that it would be nice to have someone checking on the pool for high jinks a bit more often - it's a small pool so if you get a bit of high spirits it can make it uncomfortable for other users, and a subtle discouragement of this would be helpful. But in general the vibe was really nice, relaxed without being careless. "
