Hotel Chelsea, a South Beach Group Hotel

Nice please

Called multiple times to have car ready from valet, no one answered. When I walked to the front desk employee was outside. When we came back from dinner, again no one was at desk to return car keys to be taken to valet. Waited a good 5 mins until a gentlemen came down the stairs. While getting ready for bed, loud music was coming from down the hall. Music was turned off eventually. Around 5am music was blasting again. Walked down the hall and it smelt like weed coming from the room with the loud music. Checked out and said never will we return to this hotel.

The room was pretty and the shuttle service timely. I liked that you can go to happy hour at any hotel in south beach group and the location is close to everything I wanted out of south beach. I did find that housekeeping kept throwing away toiletries without replacing, like shampoo, even when I tried to hide them, and once returned to my room to find the heat on full blast. Make sure to grab a beach towel well ahead of time as they run out and schedule your return shuttle well ahead of time (no one tells you this).

We went down for Miami Music Week so the location was perfect. When we arrived to the Chelsea we were upgraded to a junior suite at Chesterfield Hotel. The room was clean, bed was comfortable and staff was great.

Spring break ( string break ) very noisy ! It' was not the hotel fault . We will go another month in Miami.Personnel were very polite and helpful.
