Quality Hotel Dickson

Good

We find the Quality Hotel very convenient for the club next door and shopping at Dickson - which is not far away. All in all it suits our needs when in Canberra.

This is a top value hotel offering modern room with full amenities & close walking distance to shopping centre & local restaurants. The car park gate would not accept my room card & there was no reply available from the help buzzer, so had to park elsewhere. The room desk had no power GPO so was difficult for work / screen related requirements In house bar & restaurant were excellent & very convenient. Excellent bathroom.

Great location close to shops and lots of food places .

Poor check in - long line - of people checking in. 2 x people at desk (not exactly sure what the second person was doing - but they were not helping expedite the process) first night was quiet - which was great. second night, however, room was opposite wine bar. when i inquired as to how late the wine bar was opening and mentioned the noise, the front desk fellow asked that I go and ask the wine bar supervisor the questions i had!!! REALLY??? on check out, one girl really helpful and attentive, but the older lady was too busy on phone checking messages to even acknowledge guests trying to depart. very poor customer service all around! unfortunately, love Dickson, but wont stay at Quality Inn Dickson again
