The hotel was good, the internet that was in the room was super fast and reliable. The microwave in the room worked but the outlet that was plugged into didn't. So might as well be broken. The room looked very clean but once you look thru things that people usually don't use, it's really not. The kitchen utensils were super dirty with dust. But everything else was clean. Especially the bed which was nice. Wasen't gonna need the kitchen utensils but so it didn't really matter, but still. The fact that there's no parking sucks, but you should know that before you book a room. The area around it is okay not the best but it is downtown so it's only expected.

The good: it was modern and the design of the building and the unit was good. I like the rooftop and the amenities. and while they are not empowered to help, the staff are very nice. The Bad: Mint House moved me between three different units because the first and the second were so filthy - like "someone else's crusty Kleenex under the bed" dirty and then some. The washer and dryer were broken for more than half my stay and many other items in the unit were broken. Know that this is a slightly older than college age "adult dorm" setting that will smell like weed the entire time you stay there. The building did not enforce masks so it was extremely unsafe during the pandemic, and there were things like vomit in the stairwell that sat there for days. In the end, after considerable time on the phone with more than five people, they gave me a small discount... but that wasn't what I asked for - I just wanted a nice and clean apartment. It was all handled so unprofessionally that I banned my staff from using Mint House on all our business travel.

Live the luxury life when in Minneapolis!

What a beautiful, fun, modern suite! Home away from home feel. I didnt find entry to be confusing (codes are emailed, and then once inside suite you get a fob) and loved the ease of check in. During this time of Covid-19, the no contact experience was a huge perk. For the price, this cannot be beat! Super quiet, and located near parking ramp. Found my new go to whenever I visit Minneapolis. A game changer for how I view the hotel experience! Thank you, Mint House!

I have fees charged to my card that are not in process of a refund even therefore my stay was short and sweet left some clothes on accident and paid way too much!

Given the location and room itself it felt like we were living in the Twin Cities again. The only drawback to a property such as this was a permanent resident who decided to start playing bass heavy music in the morning and continuing through the afternoon. I asked if anything could be done knowing the answer was most likely no.

Mint House CBD

As a business traveler, Mint House is a unique experience since the building duals as residential. It was hip without being hipster and the location in Minneapolis was ideal for walking to some highly rated restaurants.

Cool Option Besides a Hotel

We took a family trip to Minneapolis and thought it would be handy to stay at a place that had multiple rooms so that the 2 kiddos and parents could each have their own. The apartment had two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a kitchen, and nice living area. I was very impressed with the cleanliness, layout, and decor (very urban industrial chic)! All communications is done via email, which worked out fine for us, and all of our door codes and whatnot worked. There was also someone on site, at least until 9/10pm, and everyone was very pleasant. There was plenty of parking, as there were three parking ramps all just across the street/down the block, although it wasn't super handy when carrying all the junk needed for a toddler. The only bit of a complaint is that the hallway really smelled of weed for the first couple of days we were there. Our room didn't, which was good, otherwise we would have left (nonrefundable and all...), though not really impressed with that aspect as I had children with. Oh, also, all of the pillows have these really large plastic pieces covering the zippers (some sort of anti-theft, anti-cant-unzip-the-pillow thing) which kept poking out of the pillow cases. Not a super big deal, except I caught my arm on them on 2 separate occasions while sleeping and have some decent scratches from them. Otherwise, overall, would totally stay here again! It's in a great location with all sorts of restaurants, bars, Target, and Starbucks in close proximity!
