El Hotelito

This is a nice and quiet place , the view is amazing , you definitely need a Jeep to get there because part of the road gets really bad when there is rain. Overall we had an amazing time , the people Were very welcoming and friendly . I definitely want to come back soon ...

This was truly the most unique location and beautiful hotel! Jennifer and Rafael bent over backwards to make sure we found the hotel (we got super lost! Do not use iPhone maps) they even saved us some delicious dinner even though we arrived two hours late. The service, food and location were all phenomenal!!!! I was so impressed that it all runs on renewable resources (solar, rain water) Hotelito was only 20 minutes from the national forest and 25 min from the beach. The hotel had impressive views of both the rainforest and the ocean. This is the perfect hotel for adventurers and animal lovers. They have 6 sweet pups and little lizards and frogs wander in from time to time. At night the coqui frogs sing you to sleep. This is NOT a hotel for party people or people who do not respect nature.

The hotel is in a beautiful place basically in the middle of the wild where you can literally hear every creature out there from the native coquies to the birds chirping. If you come from the city or you just want to get away from the noise, this is the place to go. We got there late around 10pm, the staff (2 people) had warned us about the road to reach the property since it was damaged because of rainfall. First thing I would suggest is, if you don't have a 4x4 vehicle you shouldnt stay here, some areas don't even have a road and with rainfall a regular car would have a pretty hard time to get there. If you are planning to go up to the hotel, you better carry every food and drink you need

We haven’t stayed due to change of plan, thus I cannot make any comments on the property or services. Within few hours after we booked this hotel, my friend realized that she has a schedule conflict so we contacted the hotel immediately via Hotels.com, later via email, then via phone call to find out if we can cancel it freely, or partial refund. We haven’t received any responses......other hotels we booked all refunded us.

The owner was rude and not welcoming at all. I have never in my life experienced an owner so disrespectful in my life. Had the nerve to ask me to ask another guess to give me a ride down the dangerous mountain where the property is located. The receptionist was very sweet but it wasn’t enough to change my experience. Don’t go here !!

The little hotel loved the very friendly staff, good place to relax and have a good time. The only thing I did not like is the road to the site, the road is on land and is in poor condition. otherwise excellent.

We loved that the hotelito is located away from all. We loved the tropical rain and the coquies singing during the night. The place decoration and its unic relaxing admosphire away from everything and in contact with nature. I5 is ideal if one wants to be away from all witn the person you love. No music no television only you with the one you love and nature.
