Ata Ali Hotel

It's an ok hotel about 25 minute walk to Petra. There are closer hotels I probably would have chosen since you're so tired from a day of walking in Petra, you don't want to walk uphill back to the hotel. The service was hit and miss. Some staff are great and some don't care at all. The breakfast was so gross. I found the loaf of bread all moldy and that put us off for the rest of the trip.

Clean hotel with friendly service and free breakfast. Our room also included a free mini bar. Overall a nice stay for the price.

It was okay. Too much money for what it is. The rooms were clean, good hot water pressure, comfortable bed sheets. The only is issue was that the room was really small. Management were nice and accommodating.

It’s a small warm hotel, staff are helpful, location is good, recommend it.

When we arrived we found out that the entrance of the hotel is on a 2nd floor which was all dirty. The sound was pretty loud because it is beside a tunnel which is a main road. When we were checking in, they didn't have our reservation in the system. The lobby was pretty loud with kids playing games on the TV. After seeing all of the above, we decided to not stay at the hotel. I highly recommend not to stay at this hotel.

Ata Ali Hotel is a small, clean modern hotel with friendly & helpful staff. We had a great view of Petra & Wadi Musa town from our room. It is convenient to access Petra from the hotel and there are many shops and eateries within walking distance.

A modest, friendly and thoroughly agreeable place. It’s a bit of a hike to that Petra gate, but no problem if you have your own vehicle.

Whilst the front entrance was nice, I had asked for a King size bed and this was confirmed in my booking email. However, on arrival I was told that there were no king size beds in Jordan! Hence, whilst I felt I paid over the odds for this hotel, the room was tiny. We had no where to put anything. The bathroom and toilet was made as part of the room and it was partitioned by flecked glass, which allowed for no privacy at all. The toilet was squashed in and I could only just about sit on it. If you were any taller than me (5’9”) you wouldn’t have managed it. The hotel was not finished from being refurbished and no breakfast was offered at all apart from some coffee which was cold every time we tried to get some. Not impressed at all.
