Marriott Chicago Schaumburg

Love this hotel so much. The staff here are so nice. They always get the room I want and always greet me and my girlfriend with a smile.

The room was a little small but very cozy! The decor was very cute! Definitely would stay again hands down!

Very clean hotel and great service.

The pool was closed, the Gym was open only from 7 AM - 7 PM. Not much service, I understand that this is special times, but at least do what other hotels do. The Marriott in Naperville is much better service and the Gym is open 24 hours. I had to be at work by 8 AM and return to the hotel by 6 PM, so the Gym was closed every time. If i would have known I would not have stayed here,

Great rate. Hotel staff was very nice and courteous. The hotel had expectable regulations for operating during the pandemic. Hotel appears to have gone through recent renovations, very modern. Secluded but close to everything. Only problem I had was with the cleanliness of the room. Hair and dirt in bathroom, build up dust in air exchanger, several key outlets and USB ports did not work, and the remote half worked. Would not have been an issue except, its a pandemic, and you sort have to stay in the room for extended periods of time.

Staff was very friendly and courteous. Location was also excellent... very close to Mall, restaurants and highways.

It was an okay stay. For the price we paid it would of been okay if the gym, pool, or breakfast was open, instead all the amenities were closed.

I booked a room with breakfast, but the breakfast restaurant was closed by COVID-19. Will the price be returned?

I prepaid for the room for 4 nites thru hotels.com, when i arrived they recharged the 4 nites plus the $50.00 service fee. They didn't tell me til I checked my credit card for charges. I called and got an apology but they could not reverse the charge til management arrived. I talked to hotels.com, they got involved also to try and credit back the charges. The manager finally showed up and was polite about the whole thing. I changed hotels after the first nite because of the overcharge and the pools were both shut down even though their website says open, room was tacky and seemed dirty, window was filthy, no restaurants or bars open in the hotel(absolutely no amenities) I am now on day 10 awaiting the $450 pending charge to fall off my usable credit card funds. Got the reimbursement from hotels.com faster. By the way also a Bonvoy member
