Denmark may be small in size, but it packs a meaty punch in terms of culture and history. It’s no surprise that it’s considered one of the happiest places on Earth, with its striking scenery, easy-to-navigate cities and wonderfully welcoming people. As the birthplace of Lego – one of the world’s most popular toys – Denmark is a great place for a family vacation, but it’s also popular for couples, who can enjoy the romantic atmosphere of the cobbled streets and waterfront in Copenhagen.

It’s not always been such a peaceful place, but Danes are even proud of their Viking heritage and historic castles. There is a lot of history to see and explore, as well as a lot of beautiful nature.
