"Beautiful room, set in a cave. Very clean. Free continental breakfast was excellent. All staff especially Samir and Mario were excellent to deal with and very helpful. Would definitely stay here again."
"A very charming place to stay that provides up level service. Breakfast was delicious. Everyone is courteous. They gave us a nice guidance on how to explore better Matera and also nice restaurants recommendations."
"Andrea & Lucia were attentive, kind and professional. I stayed just one night but they did a great job. Nice breakfast, nice pool and the grounds are both charming and spotless."
"Truly fantastic boutique hotel! Such an amazing find! Highly recommended.
Parking is free and easy to find. The hotel picks you up and takes you into the city.
The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. On the day of our departure we needed to leave very early and they had a full breakfast ready for us and gave us a ride back to our car with no problem at all.
The location at the edge of the cliff is absolutely stunning and the views are unparalleled.
The rooms themselves are unique and very well appointed. The bathroom in our room needs to be repainted and the loft where the kids slept got very hot. But other than that we can't find a single fault with this lovely spot in a beautiful city!

"This is one of the coolest places I’ve ever stayed. If you have difficulty with stairs, you may want to look elsewhere, but if no mobility issues, you must stay here! It’s incredible!"
