Natchez is a beautiful town. Easy to get around although it has a lot of one way streets. We toured the city by carriage, which we enjoyed, the tour guide was very knowledgeable of the city's history. I would definitely recommend Natchez.

Had dinner at the Magnolia Grill, recommended by Debbie. Nothing fancy, but food and service excellent. Be sure to see Under the Hill. It is a walk along the Mississippi, but up high.

Make sure your trip includes a trip down to the Mississippi River. There are restaurants/shops overlooking it. Sunset was spectacular over the river.

Natchez has a 'Feel' about it that we can't explain. We don't antique shop or enjoy nightlife but, the ambience is overwhelming with calming freedom. We visit when we can for 2 nights and eat at Roux 61 which is always great.

Many One-way streets! Beautiful preserved historical homes. Enjoyed driving around the neighborhoods.
"Wonderful stay every time. Nice staff, very clean and comfortable beds and good AC. Ask for a river view as it’s amazing. Good breakfast. Nice area to walk along the river path and many people do. Felt very safe and pig out inn a short walkable distance was excellent. Beautiful historic homes walkable distance and price is very reasonable. Needs microwave in room but has fridge. Rarely give such a good rating but they deserve it. "
"The Days Inn in Natchez offered a warm greeting from the Staff and answered all our questions as far as they were able. The building is old and needs remodeling of which we met the painter. We had paint on the floor in our room without towels for use and had to go to the front desk to get the towels. We also noticed red lights on the phone which was annoying when trying to sleep. After contacting the staff, we were told they would take it off, but it never was taken off for the entire stay. The sink was cracked, and the toilet stained and look dirty, but I bring my own cleaning products and made sure the room acceptable. The breakfast was awesome and while we were not able to partake of the dinner; the menu was awesome. "
